Stuttering and Cluttering

Stuttering is a communication disorder characterized by a disruption in the normal flow of speech. This can include the involuntary repetition and prolongations of sounds, syllables, or words as well interruptions or pauses in speech. Cluttering is a disorder characterized by rapid, irregular speech. By factoring in an individual's case history, stuttering behaviors, and the person's speech and language abilities, speech therapy will assist clients who do not speak fluently due to stuttering and/or cluttering.
